CE Scheme Vs Tus

I am trying to figure out what scheme is 'better'' or are they both the same? is one just community based projects outdoor jobs and the other can be more indoors jobs. Has anyone done either or both before? Trying to understand the schemes from a side to side perspective of similarities and differences

There's no real difference in terms of the type of work you do. The TUS scheme ends after one year, while a CE scheme can last three years. That's the only difference that i can see.
