I also bit the bullet and bought a 512GB 2230 ssd from Amazon uk, should arrive this week and not expecting the Deck itself til next week I guess.

Amazon is a curse when you can't sleep. I now have two 512gb SD cards sitting on the shelf. I don't even have a device to put them into! I'll just keep them habdy for the deck when the one in it fills up. ...............I also ended up buying a Series S for €180 I really do not need that.

Thanks again for the heads up on this, I did it there yesterday and it seems to be working fine. For some reason I am just not 100% comfortable with the fix, I am expecting it to cause problems at some point. Hopefully Valve sort it on their end eventually.

It will work 100% because from OS level it's transparent that there is a redirect via symbolic link, the applications(steam etc. ) will not be aware of the redirect.

Have seen a few say the same. Wonder why they're taking so long to dispatch now? Hope it doesn't turn out to be big delays like in Canada. My friend ordered his on Thursday, I'll let you know if anything happens with his (currently on "packaged items").

Actually just got a shipping email about 1hr ago. Tracking number doesn’t exists on the GLS website but looks like it’s been shipped so 🤞🏻 It will come this week

picked up by GLS in Holland so should have it in 48hrs

So for those that have been through the wait - when it says 'the parcel was handed over to GLS' in the Netherlands - is that when it goes quiet for a week and turns up in Ireland for delivery the next day? 🙂

Yes, you'll see nothing happening until arrived in Ireland update then delivered the next day.

Mine left the Netherlands on Wednesday, arrived in Ireland Friday, delivered this afternoon. GLS don't deliver on Saturdays

I've only done a little playing around with it so far, installing a few games, delving through the UI etc.. Really like it so far.

That's the last movement with mine. My NVMe drive has dispatched though so that's cool.

I was just looking at another site and some people in the UK that ordered on Thursday have already gotten a dispatch email over the weekend while we're waiting a week for it to be dispatched. Are we at the bottom of the "UK" orders? 😂

It just got delivered, paid for it late on the 26th so just over a week to be delivered. Won't power it on though until I get the SSD and swap that in.

Has anyone tried Batocera running off a micro SD? Saw ETA prime's video on it and it seems pretty neat.

I was considering it but I am very happy with EmuDeck. All the games appear as native steam titles and the collections tab arranges them very well.

I ordered the 26/09 package was picked up the 01/10 and left Holland 04/10 so hoping it arrives in Ireland today for delivery tomorrow. But some people have had shorter deliveries I think. Saturday and Sundays don’t count only business days as far as I now.
