It kills you to read “anti” Fury talk here…chill pill…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,626 ✭✭✭iebamm2580

It really doesn't, its hypocrisy and people unable to admit when they are wrong is what riles me, thats it.

Don’t take it so personally. Only bit a back and forth…

When i first saw fury on tv all them years back in the pub, i thought he was crap. Never liked his style under peter fury, even the wlad win was tough to watch. Its since sugar hill has got him, he has went on to dominate and is enjoyable to watch and seems like a genuine bloke who does talk **** like all of us. How people warmed to that fake manufactured Joshua ill never know, delighted his mask has slipped and will go down in history as an average heavyweight.

I’d put AJ barely in my top 20…

    Fury in my top 15..

    michaelbensonboxing on Instagram

Eddie Hearn released a statement there. I agree with him 100 percent. It’s just common sense. And how contracts and negotiations should be discussed..

nothing to do with sides. Remove the names. It’s just common sense..and even Frank Warren seems to think this, albeit not being too forceful.

Fury has made a balls of this.. as Simon Jordan said, he needs to just shut up and let the experts deal with the contract..

lot of comments also feeling that Fury has made balls of it, and that Hearn is spot on.

You agree with Hearn and you come to the conclusion its fury's fault, did not expect that, wow. When your agreeing with Simon Jordan too, somethings a miss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,664 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Yes, I agree with Hearn. Fury needs to let the experts deal with what they are there for.

and again, don’t take it personally. Even if I was Fury’s biggest fan (like you) I’d still be able to see sense.

It was easy to see that was not the real Joshua in front of camera and he was groomed for the media and public and to be fair they did a great job and made him an absolute fortune with all his sponsorship deals and huge ppv numbers

    The internet isn’t for everyone

Man when it comes to fury you clearly don't see sense hence all your predictions on him being wrong. Your postings show your clouded judgment when it comes to fury. A grown man believing what a smarmy promoter like Eddie Hearn has to say is funny though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,664 ✭✭✭✭walshb

So, Simon Jordan saying Fury needs to leave contract negotiations to the teams, this is something amiss? Ok!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,664 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Funny for a grown man to agree with Eddie Hearn’s take on this?….hmm… leave that with me..

would it be funny to agree with Fury’s take?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,626 ✭✭✭iebamm2580

Yes fury can say what he wants and if aj had any balls he would have told the negotiators to just sign it. Fury never had trouble with contracts before, hearn and aj still trying to act like they are the a side,.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,664 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Probably pointless discussing any further when it’s a case of “just sign it, AJ” with you…

Roll on Dec 3. Charr for the win!!!!!!

No because fury has always fought who he said it would. Eddie hearn the biggest spoofer in boxing and you agree with his take.

I dunno why anyone is surprised about all of this and why so many are so wound up. Was it unpredictable… NO! Who is to blame? Both, neither. Doesn’t matter too much we weren’t getting that fight. If they swing it then class but it never looked likely

Oh this clown, every sentence is a contradiction. He says fury wouldn't fight usyk this summer, chose to fight Whyte even though usyk deal was done. Is the clown forgetting about ajs rematch clause with usyk. Couldn't believe a word he says. Says we are the b side even though they dont really believe it. clown.

I don’t think anyone is surprised. Hence my asking days ago are we too naive to be thinking this happens.

Sick of the sight and sound of Hearn at this stage - the man is a walking liar and contradicts himself every two mins.

He doesn't want this fight, end of. Fury beats AJ easily and his stock is finished. 3 defeats in a row. Easier build him back up with a few gimme fights and gets PPV revenue in for Dazn.

    Total joke.

Usyk now saying a trilogy fight with AJ if the Fury fight with him (Usyk) can't be made....

I think I'd fall asleep watching another 12 rds of these two

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,954 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

I see as of a hour ago Simon Jordan who you've quoted and Garth A Davis both reckon the hold up is matchroom & 258 they don't want the fight and know if they stall Fury has to move on,

Its the only thing that makes sense, at this point

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,664 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Good for them. And I don’t disagree. It could well be them.

here’s the thing. And people, in their rush to “defend” Fury haven’t realised. I never said Hearn/AJ want this. They may well not.

The main issue I saw, as did several others, Jordan and Warren included, was Fury making this the Fury show. Something bellend Bellew also says.

Looking at it completely objectively: Fury went about this wrong. He pretty much wanted this all about him. Why not just let the teams discuss and negotiate.

Because of how he has behaved the past few weeks, this has led to some thinking he never really wanted the fight (nothing to do with fear, btw.) For me, if he really wanted it, he shouldn’t have at all been so OTT and belligerent about it..

so, I have no issue with anyone saying Hearn and AJ don’t want it. I never said they did. I simply came at it from Fury’s input and take of it.

Anyway, it's been done to death. No idea why you're still dragging it out.

It is the Fury show ,

Why wouldn't be he is the undefeated champion ,

He is the one that picked a 2 wins in his last 5 opponent so of course its the Fury show ,

Fury went about it wrong is a laughable comment , He doesn't want to be AJ's friend , was he to mean to AJ ahh bless him ,

Fury called out Wlad on social media, called out Wilder on social media i suppose he didn't want them fights either,

Just sad that AJ's team are bottling it now after all the talk over the years

Not going to happen i reckon. Fury has always been this way since calling out haye all them years ago. Hear n will drag it out knowing fury will have to move on and blame him then saying he didn't really want it. Bellew who would leave aj do what he wants with him is embarrassing, such an unlikable man.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,626 ✭✭✭iebamm2580

This is the fury show, eddies and ajs egos taking a hit and want to dictate, they both know aj will have his third loss in a row so stalling until the inevitable fur has to walk away. Plain to see, only aj and hearn lovers see different. Funny seeing it play out like i know it would.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 41,916 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Well I doubt AJ wants the fight. He doesn't want another loss right now. He wants a couple of handy wins and then have a big money title shot from a position of strength.

I don't think Fury wants it either with the crap he's been talking. It's like he's trying to get AJ to turn it down.

Fury always talks like this nothing new, why wouldn't fury want it? Dont get anybody saying he doesn't want it. Hes done everything possible to make the fight including a very generous split to a guy who lost his last 2 fights. Normally he doesn't have people acting the bollix with contracts so doesn't have to give deadlines. Look at how 3 fights he made with wilder, don't think any news story on contracts as it was done and signed without issue. Hearn on about ajs image rights now after fury agreed to all his other stuff. Plain to see Hearn doesnt want this to happen.
