Myenergi Harvi Generation sensor always 0

Hi All,

I have just 3 PV panels installed by the builder.

Later I installed Zappi and Harvi, 2 CT clamps. The Myenergi app never detects any generation. However, in the Grid usage I can see export at time. I got the CT configuration verified by a couple of people; they all said the configuration is good. One electrician said it might be due to my generation being too low and someone else said the cable is too small (2.5mm or something?) so the CT may not be picking anything up etc. Does anyone have a similar set up? What's your experience? thanks a lot.

I think you'll have to explain the setup in more detail - max generation kwp, where are the CTs placed? are they MyEnergi CTs? etc

I thought you needed the MyEnergi hub for the app to show anything?

Is the CT clamp on the 2.5mm2 cable because if it is it will result in zero readings, it needs to be on the Live cable only

This. No hub, nothing in app. Buy a hub OP, they're only cheap. Unless of course you have a very new Zappi gen 2.1, they have a built-in hub

OP must have Hub as seeing Grid export

What does the eddi say on the lcd panel itself? No real need for the app....

exactly you don't actually need a hub to see generation/export its all visible on the lcd of both zappi and eddi. I had no hub for over a year - only got it to be able to install upgrades and for remote control of zappi.

OP can you check if your CT clamp is set as "Gen+Battery". If its on that setting generation will never be displayed. It needs to be set to "Generation Only"
