Lodging Three Euro to AIB

This may be a silly question.

Can you lodge less than €5 to any AIB branch in coins?

Need an additional 60 cent in my account to pay a bill by direct debit.

Once it's not so much the clerk will have issues it should be fine. I've lodged random amounts of coin in the past and think I've included odd bits.

I don't have that amount at the moment. It will be a €2 and €1 coin. Not a bunch of 5 cent coins :)

shouldn't be a problem. Maybe do it through the Post Office, they are generally friendlier. Sometimes I just want to take a fiver out (which you can't on ATMs) but the PO obliges without the hassle of trying to find a human cahier in an AIB.
