If I post in a thread, it shows that I have unread posts in my thread section

I use the followed threads section quite a bit, on mobile and desktop. If I post in a thread, that thread goes to top of the list, as expected. It also, however, indicates that there's an unread post (mine), which is unexpected.

This is relatively new behaviour for me, maybe in the last couple of weeks?

I’ve started to notice that too, but it goes away after a new hours. No idea what the cause is and I’ve only seen one or two reports so far. Will keep an eye out for possible triggers. Thanks for the report.

If you refresh while in the thread after you've posted it, it won't show as a new post, just the most recent as expected, yet another workaround unfortunately

This is a bug which I have reported but will follow up on again to see if there is any progress.

I've been told that this is a systemwide Vanilla bug which will be fixed on 17th October when they do their next update. Sorry guys we'll have to put up with it til then.
