Emmerdale returns to 7pm from next Monday (ITV and Virgin) and Corrie at 7:30 to make way for Britain's Got Talent.

On Monday Emmerdale is on at 7 with Coronation Street at 7:30 for 30 minutes with BGT on at 8. (ITV and Virgin1.)

Just to mention Coro St and Emmers are moving to 8pm and 8:30 Monday to Friday from 2026

Dropping the second Emmerdale Episode and cutting Friday night Coro St in half.

Half hour reduction for both.

Just to update this Emmerdale moves to 8pm and Coro St to 8:30 on Tuesday (6th Jan), is the special crossover on the 5th?

Emmerdale will be replaced at 7:30 on VMTV ONE by …. Friends… while over on ITV1 with Millionaire Hot Seat.

This reduces both soaps from 3 hours to 2.5 hours per week.

I suspect RTÉ will eventually move Fair City out of the 8pm slot on Tuesday and Thursday. Took them 3 months to move the Wednesday night edition to Fridays at 7:30.

Virgin Media 1 and ITV1 (Lucky for VMTV that ITV are airing this match and not BBC).

No drop date for EastEnders, BBC haven't yet made up that expression.

Reeling in the Years will replace Fair City.
