Spotted the first 2022 advent calendar of the year (that I've seen) for €42 in Smiggle Dundrum.

They always get cheaper in December.

Lego ones available since the 01st Sept on their own site. 55 euros to get free shipping though, so could be worth waiting for them on Smyths unless you're ordering other items.

Our two told us over the weekend they didn't want advent calendars anymore. So the Mrs suggested we get an old fashioned wooden one or suchlike that just has the numbers that we can re-use every year.

I remember looking up ones like the Griswalds had in the Christmas Vacation film & they were extortionate so will need something cheaper if we are going down that route.

Aldi actually had one last year, and I was thinking of getting it, but I already do chocolate ones and Lego ones, so I left it behind. it was very inexpensive and looked quite good.

I recommend the Gibson's jigsaw advent calendar for anyone who likes jigsaws. They come with glue and string to make into decorations when you've completed them.

I've already googled this since seeing it yesterday. Their own website delivers to ireland but this year's calendar is "coming soon".

£35 for the calendar. Shipping to Ireland is £5.99, don't know if they do the vat thing like amazon.

I've my annual Bird & Blend tea advent ordered (should arrive next week) & am getting a cross stitch one as well. I got some of the beauty ones before but I never seem to use the majority from them so decided to avoid them this year. Might pick up a cadburys one for a treat closer to the time but that'll be it.

Was in Boots today and they have an Advent calendar I've never seen before. If you're so inclined how about a face pack a day for 24 days in a row during Advent! 😃
