I did a full install of xp pro, and I get a warning message when I bbot up saying 'a temporary paging file has been created, you must set more memory to paging' It then directs me to settings-system-advanced-performance and then tells me set more memory, This is confusing because it wont let me set or am I doing it the wrong way?
    Oh xp does still work.
    Any light in the subject.

go into add/remove programs and uninstall the fallowing

    "Glassbook Reader"
    "Intel Application Accelerator"

you should install the intel program again from www.intel.com

if you don't have these on the list

if you are not logging in in an administrator account , do so, and make sure all users got full read write access to c: drive and pagefile.sys

    >Control Panel
    > Administrative Tools
    >Local Security Policy,
    and under Local Policies
    > Security Options
set it to clear the pagefile on shutdown
