Yeah he’ll learn from it for sure. He’s going to be targeted now too so he’ll have to.

    I never said they were.

I dont like to see players grabbing other players.

Some of the antics at corners are like something you'd see in the WWE.

If the rules were actually implemented there would be loads of penalties in each game.

I like physicality in the game but wrestling has no place in it.

They were kings of shthousery and by your standards above are "poor" defenders. So yes you did call them poor defenders.

    Darwin will be fine.

If he grew up playing in Uraguay he'll have come across lots of it I'm sure, his reaction last week is probably half frustration with not maybe settling in and hitting his straps as well as maybe he wanted to. He'll be fine....

Very interested to see some opinioning how Andersen handled him was great defending. Far from it in my opinion, but we'll agree to differ. Awkward lumps of defenders who at Andersen's level are ten a penny across every league in Europe, fair play to him for carving out a decent career for himself, but he has reached his maximum level where he is, and will be proud to tell his grand kids he conned Darwin into getting sent off in his first game at Anfield. Kudos to him, but Darwin has a much higher potential IMHO.

Awkward lumps of defenders.. is that the first time you've watched Andersen play yeah? He's a tidy defender and his distribution and long passing is sensational. He will likely end up playing for a champions league club.. So no he's not ten a penny across every league at all. I know fans like defending their players but the thuggery from Darwin here was unacceptable. Even Klopp didn't defend it. Haha conned Darwin in to getting sent off, Darwin did that himself when he went for two headbutts. I don't doubt Darwin has a higher potential he was just signed for 85 million pounds or something. He has great attributes, should have a great career. The bias and distain for Andersen is unreal, Darwin fully to blame.

Really can't believe their are posters trying to defend Nunez and blame Anderson.

Anderson defended like a defender does, simple as. No defender is nice and easy on the actackers. Every defender does it, espically the best ones.

A headbutt is the response of a hooligan and a yob.

Even as a reaction it can't be defended in anyway.

However I do look forward to seeing how he reacts over the rest of the seaon, as all defenders will now look to push him even more, looking for a reaction. If he does it again he will surely face a longer suspension.

I do wonder if it was Haaland landed the headbutt would the response of some posters been different and would it have been condemend more.

Cannot believe I'm watching this Everton-Forest match..

    Completely devoid of quality

Palace v Villa has been a decent watch. Palace much better than Villa

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Leicester just can't defend a set peice a long throw and a knock down bang goal.

Rodgers just can't coach them how to defend.

Ivan Toney finally gets his goal after two disallowed goals to make it 2-2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    Palace 3-1 up now.

Gerrard won’t have many games left to save his job.

    Forest up against Everton

    Classic Pickford with the assist

Everton back level in the 88th min. Ball over the top for Gray

England's Golden Generation aren't making a good stab at being managers.

Campbell, Scholes, G Neville all failed.

P Neville only getting a job from his Class of 92 teammate in the MLS.

Lampard, Gerrard & Rooney still trying.

Mitrovic puts Fulham 3-2 up in the 89th minute

Carbon copy of his backpost header against Liverpool.

A few managers on the chopping block after todays results,

Gerrard, Rodgers & Lampard even though Everton got a late equaliser

Could actually see a case where Gerrard and Rodgers are sacked/jump and end up in each others job.

Arsenal looking good here....could they be the ones to break Man City domination of the league? Probably not but Arteta seems to be building a good team there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

No chance they're going to compete with City this season but they're on the right path with Arteta. Jesus is looking the signing of the summer so far, he's taken them up another level.

Arsenal have a beautiful start to the season fixtures wise, the big question will be when, the drop points how they, react to that and how they fair against top 6 teams

That Arsenal away kit is lovely. One of the nicest kits this year.

Your probably right. Not an Arsenal fan but would love someone to best them... unfortunately can't see it happening. Premier League is becoming more like the Bundesliga or liga 1 in France

But if they don't finish top 4, they'll be scavenged for the likes of Saka, ESR and Martinelli.

I read he was the most selected player in Fantasy football history this season (including me). It just seems like the perfect signing as Arsenal create plenty but were reliant on Lacazette to finish them last season.
