Lost Cable / The Square

Right, so first off I am an eejit.

Cut to the chase, I left my charger cable in the 22Kw Type 2 charger at the Square Tallaght. Around 10.30 yesterday morning. In my defence we are holding vigil for my mother in law at Tallaght Hospital, my mind was elsewhere.

Before I shell out for a new one, I am happy to offer a reward in case anyone here can help me get it back.

Long shot I know, but as you already know I'm an eejit 🙂.

Alternatively, if anyone knows the best place to buy a replacement, would love to hear.

Was there charging an hour ago and definitely no sign of it. Also thanks to the girl in the silver ford focus who very kindly moved out of the space so I could get in (idiot).

Have you tried calling customer service at the square? Maybe someone handed it in to security?

I was back there earlier in the day myself and had a look around, also spoke to car park security (who checked at base), and at the Courtesy Desk inside. Unfortunately not a sign of it.

It's not nice obviously, but is there any legal basis for restricting EV spaces to EVs only? Just wondering is all...

There is a large sign saying "electric vehicles only. CCTV in operation"

Outside of that it's just stupidity to park there. It's the furthest point away from the shopping centre in the car park.

2 clues hmm, it's either Karen or the silver focus driver. Is everyone who is not you, parked at a charger an idiot? People stop in front of driveways, disabled bays to turn around wait for someone, for a few minutes, etc, stay in the car ready to move on if needs be, someone parking the furthest away, seems like a considerate person to me, while on the other hand

I never left the note. I haven't time to be at shíte like that. I did find it amusing. "Karen" 😂. Good one. People in disabled bays "for a few minutes" or "ready to move because they're waiting on someone". Glad to hear you approve of that. Personally I think it's the behaviour of a scumbag but sure you're entitled to your opinion.

I see this more and more often (people parked and waiting in disabled bays). Thing is, they don't move unless they are moved on. Not every disabled person will find it easy to get out of the car to ask the inconsiderate kant to vacate the space. If the spot is taken and none are vacant, the disabled driver/passenger is forced to get out farther away, or come back later. Anyway...off topic, carry on.
