    Hi,

Getting married in a few weeks and am just wondering what the going rate is for a donation to the priest/church. I just can't seem to find a definitive answer. If anybody has gotten married recently or has a good idea what the rate would be I would love to know. TIA.

€400-€450 mark for the priest. Now for example if you have a relative saying mass not in his own church you'll have to pay him and pay the church a few hundred also :)

They won't be slow in putting the hand out on the day.

You may as well ask him outright now so you don't get a shock in case inflation has kicked in the last year or two
