Recommendations for 4 player games for PS2

Hi all

As per the thread title, I got my hands on a multitap for the ps2. Was thinking of playing a few games with my brothers once i get my hands on a few controllers

Any good 4 player games? I have Mashed Fully Loaded which is good craic but open to others

Really not a lot that stands out there. Much better stuff on PS1 but it's still slim pickings. N64, Gamecube and XBox always did 2-4 player games way better than PS2 and PS1

I'd have to agree, n64 was the golden days of 4 player Goldeneye & Pokemon stadium :)

Gauntlet Dark Legacy is a requirement with a multitap. (The Ps2 version plays a little better than the GC/XB version)

Tekken Tag Tournament uses it but (play in teams of two with one character each) but its not massively different from regular play

TimeSplitters uses it as well I think

I recently fecked all my Buzz ps2 controllers in the bin. Half regretting it! haha

Those controllers are just a mass of wire tangles - did they ever make wireless ones?

They did. Think when the PS3 game came out, there was package with the wireless controllers which could be used on the PS2 as well. Might have been a specific PS2 release as well but can't recall.

Stuffed away in the cupboard somewhere, hopefully the dongle is still about !
