First Thing i have noticed
It doesnt like Windows 2003 Server
- The Original CM4 worked on this operating system..

ive just been playing the demo and came accross an interesting thing that i didnt notice in other versions ( might happen but i didnt c it)
I started with chelsea and decided to buy roy keane so i promptly stuck my £25m in an envelope and scribbled "old trafford" on it. upon delivery of a very large sds parcel a couple of days later i unwrapped it to find roys value had suddenly dropped to £1.7m which is a bit harsh i believe. Now thats a bit of depreciation worthy of rip off ireland. anyone else come accross this

Just got it. First impressions are that its the same as cm4 only slightly different. Played it for a little while and came up with some changes (mostly nice). Just in case anyone is interested, loike

- Different feedback (ie players talking bout leaving, that sort of stuff)
- An option to see how stats have changed in training (on the stats page of every player)
- All the stats are the same (but modified/tweaked since the last player update?)
- The tactics screen has been tidied up nicely. You can select priorities (capt/throw takers, etc) so you can drag players in to a list and it will use the first name if he is on the pitch - nothing amazing, but nice

- Also in tactics, the player commands - you can select presets for different player types - GK/DC etc, that changes the settings for you (stand off, run with ball, etc)
-Training looks way different, think its pretty much the same though (seems to have the same exercises - laid out on one page though) and a nice graph showing effectiveness - havent really taken much time to experiment with it yet
- You can tell your assistant to automatically give a break on a certain date (like you could yourself in cm4) and also to start preseason training on a certain date
- Matches seem the same bar the addition of a goal replay (turn off-able) and that it shows when a player is semi-injured now (icon beside players name on stats screen)
- Subs start with a rating of 5 now?
- You can declare your interest in a player now and add them to your shortlist for different lengths of time (3 months/indef/etc)
- Lots more loan options including setting a fee, setting a price after loan etc. Loans can be private now which is great - no more trying to loan a good player with a crappy club and then seeing 5 or 6 higher division teams going in for him immediatly!

Pretty much it for now, looks good though. Plays well and no glaringly obvious bugs that ive noticed!

A small thing inoticed was that it didnt take as long to 'set up match' after you made a sub. (least i think thats the case, must check it to see if it is actually faster

)

yeah its definitley a better,more polished and less buggy version
some of the additions are nice
makes it a lot more playable

Demo's dont contain bugs so you wont get them until the full version is out. Great demo though. looks a lot better than crappy CM4.

CM4 lacked alot of what made CM 01/02 so good, they have put back a lot of the things they left out of CM4.Thats why it looks so like CM 01/02.

Looks like an all nighter tonight when i get it on my own machine.

So the 03/04 Demo has arrived - And i must say its pretty dam good. The Feel of 01/02 Is back , Big Improvement in Media Interaction. Its Quicker than CM4

Things i dont like

Field sizes are fixed in Player Search Screen. Players like "Hernan Jorge Crespo" - The name doesnt fit exactly in the field whereas the same string length is given to position which is usually a lot smaller "SC"

It doesnt like Windows 2003 Server - Cm4 Worked a dream on this O/S

The Box around players name during the game could be faded a little more as it stands out a little bit

That was fixed, but came back in at the last second and I did not see it again till it was too late. Im sure we'll sort it for the patch

I dont have Win2003 server in the testlab - I dont see why I would as its a server OS not a home OS. But I will install it up on sunday and have a look why?

Any other problems/suggestions/bugs chuck them my way and I will try and sort it out for you

noticed a slight bug with the reject all offers on a players profile. When i get an offer for say le tellec i hit the reject all offers box, but the next day i get another offer which i must reply to as the reject all offers doesnt seem to have worked.It takes a few tries for it to work.
It might not be a bug at all more my problem.

It seems to occur when i set it when i receive a bid for a player.Its a little annoying to have keep rejecting bids.

I have the same problem. It rejects all the offers you get at once but if you get an offer after you continue you have to reject it manually.

I don't know if this is a bug or not but if I don't respond immediately to a transfer request and go on to read the next message I automatically reject the offer for some reason!

It seems alright after a few plays. But the English League can be S-L-O-W as fuck.

Yeah seems ok except a couple of things

If you are playing a friendly and have 24 players picked on the player rating screen you don't always see the last couple, but you see them in the stats.

And not a bug but on the compare players screen, I hate the colors. I'm slightly color blind and can't tell the difference between the yellow and green.

Just noticed a bug on 2d pitch. I had subsutited someone but for the rest of the match I could still see their number\name on the pitch.
It didn't do anything but was still there.

Playing with Derby County and Noticed these possible bugs

*My strikers cant win a header for some unknown reason , no matter who i put up front - I even loaned Gary Doherty from Spurs and fired him up front but he doesnt win headers either....

*Player runs on tactics screen still remain on screen after player is sent off

*A lot of Spanish Sides try to buy a fifth Non EU Player thus leading to a lot of Transfer Collapses

*Derby Co Data Issue*

Derby have One of the Best Youth Setups in England And are still listed as Average Facilities
