Have to say it's hard to get excited about the premier League this season...it's pretty nailed on Man city will win it again....Their total dominance is ruining it I feel I'm starting now to understand how non Bayern Munich fans feel in Germany....the relegation battle is a bit more intriguing..

But it's not total dominance though. They're being pushed all the way by a very good Liverpool team and winning leagues on the last day by a point, not running away with it every year. Plus they seem to be going through a transition this year which could see then drop back a bit.

4 of the last 5 titles is to me total dominance in fairness. Although maybe your right but even though they are pushed you just feel they can't be beaten when it comes to the crunch...they are fairly unstoppable

2 of the last 5 titles they have won by a single point, German fans would be loving those closely fought battles. Lump on to City for another title if its sewn up already. I think it won't be close this year, Liverpool will be too strong and too determined to grind it out.

I fancy Liverpool to beat them to it this year and I think the chasing pack will be closer as well Man Utd Chelsea Spurs and Arsenal have all improved. Then you have the likes of Newcastle West Ham Palace Villa who have improved as well.

The won the title last season by a single point with a goal with 10 minutes left. The only season in the last 4 where they dominated was the one where Liverpool had to play 2 reserves at center half! I expect the exact same this year, nip and tuck between City Liverpool again. Bayern haven't had to break a sweat in 10 years so you can't compare...I actually think this season is set up to be cracker, I'm looking forward to seeing Spurs under Conte again and I think they could push the top 2 hard. They wont win it but they will get closer to them that the rest.

Think spurs are the most interesting team to watch this year. Conte had them looking strong at the end of the season and they’ve backed him with good signings. Would expect at least comfortably third from them.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Arsenal win the battle for 4th, they’ve made some good signings too and are a couple of years into the Arteta project. Chelsea seem to be a bit all over the place and Utd are still a bit of a question mark.

The title will probably require 90+ points again, and could go either way. I think Salah getting a rest during the WC could be key going into 2023. City rightly still favourites though.

Recon unless there are serious injuries that it will be a close fight again for 1st and 2nd with it impossible to call between Liverpool and Man City.

The CL spots will be very interesting. spurs seem to have recruted very well, chelsea ( unless they get a few in ) seem to be lacking at the back also Tuchel throwing a few bombs around - Will he get what he wants or be out the door before the end of the season?

Arsenal have bought reasonably well BUT !!!

man U will greatly depend on who they get in before the window closes. Cant see anything bar a fight for 5/6 place.

Leicester seem do be disimproving and mid table

Bottom 3 will be a fight again - can see bournmouth, brentford ( in serious trouble without CE) southhampton everton and forest fighting it out to stay up. will greatly depend on who gets a decent start

It seems that discussions re: VAR decisions will be published after games IMO it should be live but at least its more transparency and hopefully will help end some of the scandalous bottling of big decisions that we saw last year when they knew their conversations couldn't be scrutinised.

It's going to be very interesting ,

The top 2 both going for old school number 9s might give up some control in games but could also see them taking more of there chances,

Arsenal & Spurs could take big leaps this season both look to have recruited very well to add to the styles they tried to play last season but if it goes wrong both mangers cold be gone by next summer giving the size of the spending ,

Chelsea seem like there is no plan and just a scatter gun approach to signing players , They are high quality but is there a clear plan to fit them all in ,

United have signed Erikson , Martinez (ball playing CB) & hoping to get De Jong so its quite clear its possession based football there going for, The problem is they let in a massive 57 goals last season so unless they keep the ball like City they could find themselves in trouble they don't have great players out of possession ,

Chelsea still look stronger than Arsenal even if they make no further signings and they have by far the better manager. Arsenal needed a prolific striker - Jesus is not that - two centre backs and a new keeper. Arteta and Edu appear not to be the brightest of lads.

Pep knows how to grind out the PL , Haaland will be a monster as soon as the players know how to get it to him . He was poor last game v Liverpool and could have got 2 .

The basic idea is a good one, to try to simulate a similar environment... I'm not sure playing an anthem on some speakers at what doesn't sound like a very loud level is really going to do that though... like, i think whatever you're going to do will need to be a lot more intense and visceral than that to be of any meaningful use. Like, maybe having each player wear headphone's that are blaring disorienting crowd noise or something, so the players can't even hear each other as they try to play, might be interesting.

Stories that Ronaldo and a few others left OT after being substituted at half time. Looks like he is proving difficult to manage. It will be important for ETH to get him out the door ASAP and hope Martial can hit one of his bouts of form to tilde them over until a replacement can be bedded in.
