    Brilliant team score by Galway.

    Terrible methodical shite from Kerry.

Looking like two teams that don’t belong in a final, which they don’t.

After a great start, this has really stagnated the last few mins

Scrappy so far, probably more in the kerry tank to see them over the line.

Kerry may win but they're an average team with a great player. Dublin in their peak would destroy them. Paddy Tally or no Paddy Tally.

Kerry not living up to the hype of the media so far!

Half time Kerry 0-7 Galway 0-8. Good competitive half of football. Kerry wasteful with 7 wides just the one wide for Galway.

Galway cut out the fumbles and contest the marks and every chance.

Kerry 2004-09 way superior to this Kerry.

I'd say Con O'Callaghan is sick watching it...what might have been!

Enjoyable for its closeness. Galway have been clinical with their finishing. Did Kerry get 2 or 3 points from the catch the ball rule?

1 and a half players playing for Kerry today. Fair play to Galway there really up for it but they will need every bit of luck in the second half because as usual Kerry are getting all the breaks from the ref.

As only an occasional viewer, I have to say it's an enthralling game. Plenty mistakes but it's a final and players are only human. Clifford carrying a poor Kerry performance while Galway seem like a better team unit. But that's just my neutral opinion.

Kerry very wasteful with posession. Could regret those not converting it into more scores yet.

Nice seats 2 rows from the pitch and a lovely day for the game. Kerry over relying on Clifford and frees but I feel they have another gear if they can get going. The high ball in is working ok, better then Kerry trying to play themselves into a scoring position. Is Clifford still limping as I can only see him from a distance but he looks like he’s a limp.

Wonder if pressure of expectation is getting to them. I’m also wondering if maybe Kerry will come out a different team in second half as in some Ways it’s an easier team talk because they are behind but they are only one point.

That said, Galway have been the better team and get points much easier. I hope they can keep it up in second half.

    Kerry can’t be any worse

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,980 ✭✭✭Lucy8080

If Galway throw a dummy runner at the Kerry sweeper , there is massive space for another runner in front of the kerry full back line.

I expect Comer to play a bit closer to goal second half, done a lot of thankless tracking back in the first half

All the loose talk from Kerry about dominating for years after this looking sillier by the minute. They're massively overrated. Dublin won't like watching this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,484 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

surprised how poor Kerry have been but they are only a point behind and that’s without turning up. what would worry you as a Galway fan.. they are the better team but the slenderest of leads

Thank God Dublin aren’t there today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 601 ✭✭✭WJL

But it's true. Apart from Dublin their own 2004-09 team would beat them home. Stephen O'Brien, Geaney etc are very average. Moran never plays well in a final. Kicking it over the sideline, caught in possession.

Geaney off, two poor games in a row for him.
