Zurich Home Insurance - Experience with them?

    So Zurich have come in the cheapest for our House insurance this year by a fairly significant amount but I have no experience with them.

    I googled and Trustpilot is not so reassuring about them so I'm wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them - particularly in relation to having made a claim?

    They are an excellent insurer. As for experience with claims, if your incident is covered you will be paid, if it's not you won't. This is the same for every insurer and what influences reviews people give. As with every consumer experience,dissatisfied people make more of an effort to voice their opinion

    I used to work for them and have most of my policies with them

    I'm just after switching mortgage and had to get a letter of indemnity for the new bank. I found their customer service brilliant to deal with. Sorted me out straight away. Even when the new bank came back to me about a small correction there was no problem getting it fixed with Zurich. I wish every customer service was like that. Would recommend.
