Input from Carrigaline, Co. Cork near south coast.

We do get alot of cloud and i am supposing thats due to being close to the coast. Interestingly you have the coastal area with Crosshaven, Myrtleville, Fountainstown etc .. then a bit inland Carrigaline. Then further north you hit a hill dividing where we are with Cork City, over it and down into city. So its ever thus that possibly based on topography you can have completely different weather either side of this hill / ridge. Even in winter we could have bad snow, none in the city or visa versa. Same with rain and this dam cloud :D

Was up in the city earlier and that cloud was far less as you progress inland. When the cloud is over us it gets notably cooler

So this is us right now ( thats looking toward the airport on the hill over the city, if I dipped the camera you would see the hill where it is and what divides us from the city ):

Its been typical for last 2 months .. and we might get an hour or two break in the cloud in the afternoon but it comes back again.

Would really be nice to get a few days with clear blue skies BUT i suspect .. even over weekend and monday, tuesday when we apparently get this heatwave, that we will mainly have cloud .. at best muggy due to it.

Hovering between 29 and 30° in the hills to the west of Nice, combined with blue skies. Same as every day since I got here last Sunday. Night time minimum is about 24/25° every night. Such a beautiful and consistent climate. I could move here in a heartbeat, if I had the money.
