Terrible British movies of the late 90s/early 00s.

This Twitter thread has brought back memories. I didn't actually see many of the films mentioned but virtually all are somewhere in the recesses of my memory from seeing the trailers, posters, or reading the hype about them at the time. There seemed to be a rash of Trainspotting, Four Weddings, Bridget Jones, Full Monty & Lock Stock clones rushed out in an effort to repeat the success of those films. Most have deservedly vanished without trace. Anyone have any particular memories of bad Brit flicks?

Not seen Dog Soldiers but Twin Town was decent. Rhys Ifans did go on to star in some right stinkers though over the next few years.

Out of the ones I've seen 51st State stands out as one of the worst films I've forked out to see in a cinema, and it had a great cast.

Also This Year's Love, miserable endurance test of a romcom.

One of the worst films I ever laid eyes on was "Black Ball" starring Paul Kaye. I've no idea how they got Vince Vaughan in there.

I remember enjoying "The Parole Officer" at the time

I paid actual money to watch Kevin & Perry Go Large and Ant and Dec's Alien Autopsy movie in cinemas.

A babysitter we had rented this one out for us sometime around the mid 90s and had to turn it of around the 20 minute mark after a talking turd jumped from the toilet bowl into Neil Morriseys mouth lol... Aww memories

Has anyone seen Honest, that film with three thirds of the girlband All Saints and directed by yer man fron the Eurythmics? Like any film that regularly gets listed on worst ever movie lists I'm kind of curious to see it but not going to go out of my way to watch it either.
