Tax Credit Certificate Revenue

Feel free to move thread if in the incorrect forum. I am due to start a new job and registered this employment on Revenue.ie. Today, I received my tax credit certificate. Does this mean that my wages will not be emergency taxed? Thank you.

The cert should show that your credits and bands are allocated to the new employer - assuming it does, you should not be emergency taxed.

It's all in real time now, so you rarely see emergency tax if you have completed details on revenue website
You can also see your payslips on the system
