    Is it ok to exceed the input voltage on a solis inverter? I know its ok to exceed the wattage but I'm wondering what happens if the input voltage is exceeded.

    I've 2 strings fairly max'd out as follows;

    String 1 has 12 x JA panels at 41.76v each - total 501v

    String 2* has 16 x JA panels at 41.76v each - total 668v (problem!)

    *The 16 panels are different aspects 10 south facing and 6 west facing

    The inverter input voltage is 600v so I would be exceeding this by 68v so about 10% over
