The GAA are destroying both championships by abolishing replays and moving the finals to July.

Had a funny feeling campbell would miss that

Looks like these guys have discovered the formula for scoring a peno in GAA; Low and hard to the goalie's left works every time...

Justice has been done at last.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,664 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Justice done. The Galway keeper didn't have to make a save.

Well done galway, should have closed that out in normal time but eventually got over the line

Galway win the penalty shoot out despite trying their best to lose the game being six points up at 70 minutes.

Fair play to Galway, amazing to keep their head to win on penalties after losing a 7 point lead.

Armagh, once more showing once more they should be playing UFC rather than GAA

glad Galway won but penos is a terrible way to end a GAA football match. I’d of preferred replay. There would be no Dublin v meath 1991 and other great sagas.

4 good penos. Turns out the Galway keeper wasn’t needed to be the hero.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,471 ✭✭✭_NAGDEFY

Can Galway find themselves a goalie who clears man ball and all. He nearly lost them a dead cert.

Armagh needed to get a proper keeper on. A few of those pens were stoppable.

Galway goalie a lucky man. Cant see him keeping his spot.

Justice done in a way. Armagh tried to thug and bully their way to a win. Much inferior team to Galway and were gifted 3 goals to keep them in the game.

Galway need to sort out their keeper. Any of the rest will be looking at that weakness.
