Not as annoying as the constant shots of people grinning in the crowd.

Love looking up the noses of Dubs on the Hill.

    Who's the co-commentator? He's awful

This game needs a couple of Cork goals just to liven it up.

Cork still in it showing that you have to pack the defense and prevent Dublin goals to have any chance. Quite a subdued atmosphere almost like a challenge match still get the feeling Dublin will go up a couple of gears and win handy second half.

For once the umpire is pro active and was right on top of that only to be over ruled.

Maybe the ref was right but how can he be so sure from that far away.

This is an awfully boring game.

Game hasn't really got going yet suits Cork obviously. Poor wides on both sides.

Hurley looks very dangerous and will fancy a run on goal in the second half.

This game is there for the taking if Cork want it. Dublin only look half arsed.

    Why the poor crowd?

The small Clare folk probably gone already and Cork folk were never going to travel for a 6 o'clock on a Saturday game. Any red in the crowd are from Derry.

Clare is a huge hurling county, the Clare support will be travelling to Clare v Kilkenny next weekeend.

Footballers were in bonus territory, never going to trouble Derry.

So far so good. Hopefully it stays competitive for a good while in this half now.

2 reasons for that most importantly Cork have a proper defensive plan and aren't set us as hilariously naively as we were and no Con O Callaghan.

9 wides now still to score in the second half Cork badly need a point or two.

Never thought I'd be saying it but they are a real annoyance flying back and over across the picture

    Two awfully shíte games today

This is awful scutter to watch. And the earlier game was atrocious aswell. In general the championship is very very flat this year. The interest seems to be gone across a lot of counties. Hoping tomorrow delivers better games. (Well that won't be difficult).

Soft frees all round from the ref in the second half

Is the constant switching to the crowd a Sky thing or am I just noticing it more today.

In fairness, am surprised there is anyone from Cork at it. Very easy for dubs to stroll over the road to croke park for a match and home after. Different story trying to travel 4 or 5 hours to a 6.00 match in Dublin and the same home after it. That's obviously assuming they won't be getting a hotel room in dublin to stay in. GAA would want to cop on quickly to the costs for fans outside of Dublin. Attendances have been terrible the last few weeks and not surprising.

People bitch about games like the Ulster final, give me that game over this turgid shite any day.

No tension, no atmosphere, boring as ****.

**** Croke park and this crap of having every game there, full house beats half empty every time, regardless what the actual numbers are.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,899 ✭✭✭robbiezero

You would expect the dubs to kick on in the last 10 here as Cork tire, but they are very toothless.

Poor second half. Cork out of the running very quickly and largely just free ridden stuff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,899 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Ref is very petty. Lot of advantages not beig played. Game is bad enough.

  • Posts: 2,825 ✭✭✭ Abril Attractive Couch

Have to agree - GAA would want to wake the **** up. Croke Park is not a appealing venue to fans outside of Dublin. There is very high fuel costs and no hotel rooms.

The Executive are living in a different reality.

Thurles would have been sufficient for this game and Clones for the previous game.

For a fact there would have been more atmosphere which would have driven more intensity therefore making it a better spectacle. These things make a huge difference!

Ah but it's a grand run out for the players in Croker. That's the usual line trotted out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,551 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

Its nothing got to do with time or price. You had 2 hurling counties today who knew they were in for a hiding.

If this was Cork v Clare in hurling at 6 on a Saturday the same counties would have brought big crowds.

But hey something something GAA bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,899 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Dubs will be worried at how Cork have got so much joy from their kickouts.

Kerry absolutely destroyed the Cork kick out on last 20m

Not to Croke Park on a Saturday at 6pm. They couldn't fill Thurles last week with a hurling double header with both those counties involved.
