The amount of space Derry have each time they attack is criminal considering Clare have everyone dropped back!

Physically its men against boys. Derry breaking through tackles at will.

Huge difference between a top tier county which Derry now look to be and second tier counties like Meath, Cork, Kildare, Clare etc

Derry get another goal. Clare's defence have forgotten that you are allowed tackle.

They have no chance. I will be pleased if its still a game at half time and delighted if it gets to 50 competitive mins

The only way to beat Derry is do what Donegal did.

I would fully expect them to beat Dublin/Kerry/Armagh/Mayo etc.

This is like watching an under 12's match, except with worse defending

Nicely taken soccer style goal, poor decision already play by Derry keeper.

    And.... another Derry goal. Unreal.

The Derry goalie very poor for the Clare goals, not going to matter today but he looks dodgy.

Bit early for that prediction. They're beating Clare here.

Very seldom a team wins an all Ireland from nowhere. Even Donegal took 2 years, 2011 and 2012.

Since the game is over Derry should try to get more goals than points on the scoreboard for the craic.

They had their ‘big day’ 2 weeks ago with the great win over Roscommon

Fair play to them - Derry are too good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,128 ✭✭✭Fattybojangles

God Roscommon must sick as pigs sitting at home watching this.

Derry looked impressive last year too. They have already beaten 3 division 1 teams to get to this match.

They have to win 2 more matches, the semi will be against the Galway/Armagh who are both very beatable.

Then Dublin/Kerry in the final. I have watched all of Derry's championship matches and they have the hunger which Donegal had in 2012 and the fitness too.

Please god let the next game be somewhat more exciting, doubtful but please give us something more competitive in a quarter final

Derry have been really fun to watch today. Bombing forward at every opportunity. There deffo an Ulster team right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭Amprodude

Sure you said they had a glimmer of hope there earlier.

Glass surely nailed on for an All star now?

McKaigue in contention too, with Rogers and McGuigan.

Clare were brutal. Derry have real momentum now.

Will the next game still be a contest after 15 mins? I highly doubt it but I hope I’m wrong.

Unlucky by Sherlock, Cork look comfortable passing around but need to score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,611 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Especially when Dublin were missing scores they normally make.

Nice by Hurley, he needs to see more ball. Dublin getting their scores more easily.
