    Hi there,

I need to put some levelling compound on a screeded concrete floor in advance of laying a lamented timber floor

Do I have to apply a primer or will damping the floor suffice?

How many bags of compound for a 6m x 5m floor that is level and but needs compound only to remove the marks from screeding.

Any advice or tips is appreciated

Damping the floor should be enough. at a guess 8 to 10 bags should cover it.

What I learned while doing our floors is that self leveling compound isn't very self leveling and over working it is easy to do resulting in lumps that I ended up havng to sand down once it was dry.
