Can anyone tell me why the social welfare would ask you to bring your mobile phone with you when attending a claim review, are you looking for work etc.

It can hardly be to look at it which there not entitled to.

They may just want to confirm that they have the correct number for you on their system, which might include a confirmation text.

I'm guessing this is not a review but Jobseekers Certification Declaration 🤔

So I'll respond as if it is .

This is for those who transition from PUP to JSB ,this happened automatically without attending intero center which would be normal practice and involve signing a Declaration.

If you don't have a PSC your asked to bring your Phone, ID, POA , the phone is required to send verification text, if you have a PSC you don't have to bring the rest, but I would anyway.

In essence its to verify your number and advise you , you'll need to get a PSC and if not done already, set up a mywelfare account, you'll then be offered the option of a monthly signing on through mywelfare or attend an intero once a month to sign.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.
