I was wondering if that was the quickest ever Championship goal. As Darragh Maloney said, it's the second quickest. Someone from Wicklow of all counties holds that honour.

A bad wide and 2 short intovthe keepers hands. Armagh leaving a few scores behind. Level now.

Walsh got a yellow for a wild swing and another for being an idiot so I don't think there is much to complain about there.

Bit the tackle for the penalty is exactly to the letter the type of cynical play the black card was implemented for. Black all day.

Donegal are all over the Armagh kickouts. They need to sort that quickly.

5 scores in a row for Donegal

Set up nicely for Mayo to be Mayo in the final.

Murphy bought a nice free there.

    Few soft frees so far

Wicklow of all counties says the Sligo man😂

It doesn't matter what standard the game is for the quickest goal.

Jayus Donegal mean business after that Armagh goal not only catching Donegal out, caught me out as well. I didn’t even have me seat on the couch!

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Very enjoyable game so far. Great to see after the first outing between the 2

You'd feel Donegal will need a 6+ point lead at HT such is the strength of the wind.

What a response to that goal from Donegal, they are definitely playing to save Declan Bonners job

The tactics are all change from the Derry game, Donegal kicking the ball and Murphy near the square.

Was that a 3rd man tackle? tight enough either way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,203 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

That O’Donnell fella two lovely nonchalant type of scores. O’Neill replies in kind. Great scoring so far. If not watching switch it on.

Shane O' Donnell, what a player

Can someone rip those air horns away from the fans

Agree with your synopsis of Walsh's cards but disagree that there should have been a black card for the penalty. Defender pushes the attacker over. Stonewall penalty but not a black card offence. There's only five offences you can get a black card for.

5.10 To deliberately pull down an opponent.

5.11 To deliberately trip an opponent with hand(s), arm, leg or foot.

5.12 To deliberately collide with an opponent after he has played the ball away or for the purpose of taking him out of the movement of play.

5.13 To remonstrate in an aggressive manner with a Match Official.

5.14 To threaten or to use abusive or provocative language or gestures to an opponent or teammate.

Imagine being beside one of them feckers. Would be driven demented.

Kerry forwards type scores I would call them. Effortless stuff. Doesn’t seem like typical Donegal forward

I would say his push could very easily come under "pull him down". I mean he used his hands and made the guy go down. It was a premeditated takedown with a goal on so it's a cynical take down.

Donegal counter attack doing well. Armagh starting a lot of attacks with campbell and rian o neill and then both hoping to get on the end of the attack for the shot. Some great scores so far

Goalie got planted, he might stay in goal for a while after that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,071 ✭✭✭Xander10

    cynical by the Donegal player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,110 ✭✭✭HBC08

Donegal obviously are up for this,Armagh doing well to stay in touching distance and hope they can use the wind in the 2nd half.

Terrible decision from the ref to give a yellow to McGonagle there.

2 fast points see Armagh fight back to within a point.

Push and pull are literally the opposite of each other. Referee was correct

How did he miss the goal!!!!

Should have buried it. Gave the defender the chance.

    Level now from the 45
