LNB question

Hi all,

Currently have skyQ nearly 3 years installed and I’m cancelling to receive the free channels.

I’m confused on whether i need to change my LNB or not I’ve read a few different opinions.

Ive bought a Vbox as my plan is to hopefully stream it to my Plex media server.

Basically do i need to change my LNB and if so do i just buy a standard quad LNB from a reputable store?

Also if i want the Irish channels as well as UK do i need a separate saorview aerial installed or can i receive all through the dish?

I don't know the Vbox, can you provide a link? What tuner type does it have, I.F. range?

Separate aerial required for Saorview.

Sorry I obviously didn’t have notification to your reply on.

After further research ive ordered an LNB to change my SkyQ.

I have the vbox setup now and its working great with saorview and online live channels apps. Ive added them to the google live channels app on an nvidia. When i get the LNB changed I’ll hopefully get them all added to Plex and use a NAS for recordings.
