knocking rear garden wall and creating an entrance planning required?

Hi,

i'm looking to knock a rear wall which is falling down already at the back of my garden and instead put un gates instead

the other side of the wall is the end of a cul-de-sac.

I've tried googling it but didn't haven't turn up much info

What type of gates - pedestrian gate or gates for a car? And, what does your rear garden/wall back onto?

I'd say you definitely have to get planning permission. You can ring the local council to confirm this.

gates for a car, the wall backs onto the end of a cul-de-sac so there a a road at the otherside, there's no path there

You definitely need PP.

If the cul de sac is not in public ownership you may have a legal issue with right of way also.
