Zoom meeting recording time limit?

Is there a time limit on zoom meeting recordings?

I'm using an educator account and I can only record 3 minutes?? any ideas?

I'm using my wife's account on my laptop..

She has no bother recording long meetings on het iMAc using same acount..seems weird.

Local storage .. lots of space..

I've tried letting a meeting run with record (without any activity) and its still recording (over 5 mins now) weirder..

I'm just using a meeting to record a video tutorial.

See if this makes difference:

Ensure good internet connection.

Set laptop into "High Performance" power mode (prevent internals powering down to save power), plug into power source.

OK no go...

I have a router connected to m computer as tutorial is regarding configuration of same.

It actually appears the the router connection is the cause of Zoom meeting ending with loss of connection @ 3mins..

So strange...

What OS laptop?

Does router have live internet or is it just LAN?

Wild guess (providing you on WiFi for internet and LAN only to router) - prehaps OS/Zoom see Eth connection and prioritize/goes for it. Worth try setting lower metric(higher number) on your Eth NIC

To check current metrics on all NIC's, in powershell:

Get-NetIPInterface

When you get this resolved, you could make tutorial about that 😉
