What is one supporting role that truly stole the screen every scene they were in?

Mine is always gonna be Djimon Hounsou. One of the most spine chilling and biting perfomance of all time. The way he stole the screen from Leonardo Dicaprio is mind blowing, and the passion and dedication from him makes this definitely the most believable perfomance from a supporting character since Ralph Fiennes in Schindler’s List. So what is your’s? Let me know.

Nancy Marchand - The Sopranos…she literally stole every scene she was in. She didn’t need a script… she could enable you to understand what was going on in the brain of Livia with a raised eyebrow, a glance, a look, those hilarious double takes at people. Brilliant.

    That's a great shout.

The more I watch the Sopranos the more I appreciate how amazing Nancy Marchand was and how important Livia is to the whole thing. I think Livia is evil. Apparently the Saints of Newark movie goes into her character in more depth. Yet to watch it.

More current and probably not where the op was going, but I think Tommy Tiernan is outstanding in Derry Girls!
