My husband is a hgv driver and some of the lads he's worked with have nicknames that crack me up.

There's Keith Ten Men ( cos he reckons he gets so much work done ) when his son joined the firm he was called Five Men.

Then there's DibDob ( no idea why ) but when his lad joined he got called DibDobs Sperm or just Sperm for short ( poor lad ☺️ )

There's a huge lad called Moose.

A cab happy kid called Love It.

The old grandad called HenryPops.

A guy who has been convicted of several crimes is The Criminal, his son who has never been in trouble is Guilty By Association

We have someone we call Houdini as he always escapes from doing any hard work, or just disappears out of the room for a smoke about 20 times a day. Good oul Houdini.

Not work but from school, my Commerce teacher was nicknamed The Bulldog, his son joined the staff some years later and was immediately christened The Pup.
