    I'm three guesses in and completely stumped. With the operator I know of, the figures I have in place and knowing the size of the result, I can't see how it's possible without going into fractions or truncating a result.

    It's a bit of a strange one alright. I actually got the same thing but in a different order but it allowed it under the commutivity rule. My version of it was much easier to understand and work out in your head.

    I had everything I needed after 3 lines, the 5 operands, the 2 operators - (all in wrong places)- and I had "=" in the right place.

    I had inadvertently switched off 'Allow commutative answers' so couldn't get it to work until I saw your spoiler.

    Tbh I wouldn't have thought to switch the operators around anyway.

    Everyday is a schoolday.

    Yeah I think that is a first and didn't get it yesterday as it was only on attempt 5 that I started trying fractions as I didn't realise they were a possibility. A welcome addition imo as it will make it harder
