That conversion did not look like it went through the posts to me but the score on the TV screen says 7-7, was it given?

Wouldn't mind seeing how Toulouse got that ball back...

    1. There's no knee on the floor there

    2. I think Barnes shouted at Henderson in French

Fairly annoyed at that one now I must say. Justice anyway.

Knee never touched the ground there.

Henderson can feel hard done by.

Baloucoune has been incredible in attack and defense

In no way was that a legal counter ruck. players sealing off immediately.

  • Administrators Posts: 56,019 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Yea they’re doing it every time. Just diving over it.

Ulster getting whistled off the park after the red.

That's another really infuriating one because Toulouse have done it plenty of times including that counter ruck a few mins back.

Jeez, that was a harsh call imo.

Ulster aren't tying in Toulouse's defense at all.

You see players off their feet like that on every single ruck.

Barnes is so whistle-happy. Very frustrating

lol that was surely a penalty for playing the 9. Cooney taken out when going for the ball.

  • Posts: 13,104 ✭✭✭✭ Chaya Uptight Keyhole

Laws of this game at the rucks are: if you're in red then just do whatever the **** you like.

    Come on, ffs

Ulster would drive you nuts sometimes.

Ulster have a real chance here but they can't keep throwing away chances like this.

What was Cooney doing going down the short side with pen advantage and an extra man? Brainless.

Cooney going to Balacoune for a 1v3 on penalty advantage on the 5m line is absolutely atrocious rugby that will be overlooked because they had advantage

Ulster could be handling this better but surely Toulouse won't be able to sustain this pace. Has England V Ireland written all over it.

Two Toulouse players right off their feet there, come on Barnes.

Ulster are making it so hard for themselves.

Barnes warned Arnold 4 times there or was a ruck not a maul, even went in to say it to him directly. At what stage does he stop coaching and start refereeing there? Massive bug. Ear of mine when referees do that.

Jesus the weight difference between the packs is insane. 120kg is an unbelievable difference.

Toulouse will take more time to recover from today than ulster no doubt. So that's an advantage to Ulster next week.

I wonder will half time help to reset Barnes for the second half.

Think he's a great ref but definitely guilty of red card guilt for the last 30 minutes.

Tlse TH right to his knees at that scrum. Long day if Ulster don't sharpen up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,089 ✭✭✭TRC10

Yeah the red card has almost spooked Ulster.

Very similar to France v Ireland in the 6N. Ulster getting f*cked up at the breakdown and the scrum by a much bigger pack.

Does anyone else think Henderson has been really poor this season?

Ulster losing this by no more than 2 scores would be a good outcome, keeps them in contention for next week at least.
