Processing Deeds - New Ownership

    Hi,

I was in the fortunate position to buy a property without a loan from a bank.

The solicitor I dealt with advised the deeds would take a few months to process. I became the owner in early December, so we're talking a solid 4 months at this stage.

I ordered the deeds and I am still not noted on them. Looking at landdirect .ie it states "applications are pending", can anyone advise how long this normally takes? I really just want to know that this is normal and I don't need to be concerned about the timeframe.

    Thanks for your help.

    Cheers

    L.E.E.

We are selling and buying at the moment (with loan from bank) and our solicitor said the biggest delay will probably be getting the deeds organised, she told us last month it could take until July so about 4months ish. I'd keep at your solicitor to chase it up.
