    There are a number of resident cormorants on the Old Dublin Laundry Chimney not too far from where I live and they often come down to ‘sit’ on a nearby riverbank. This bird is displaying breeding plumage! There is a waterfall in the background which makes a pleasant backdrop.

    Camera: NIkon D800

    Lens: Tamron 120-600mm fully extended on monopod.

    Aperture : f6.3

    Shutter speed: 1/500
