Tbh I don't know how they're going to get through this arc in 16 episodes at the pace it is going. This arc is very long.

Waiting for the next episode on funimation, I have a real fear these kids are gonna piss me off

Is it 16 episodes in the season?
So is it finished now? The dub has 11 aired so far so I'm behind.

Are we expected to like Gabi at all? Liked her at first but now just find her a pain.

2nd cour announced for the Winter 2022 season.

Not surprised as there was no way in hell they could adapt what was left in 16 episodes.

Final chapter of the manga is released next week.

So gave up on the final episode/final chapter simultaneous release then?

A couple of episodes into Season 2. The "2 hours/12 hours/ 1 month earlier" craic is annoying. Just seems like needless filler that stretches out episodes.

No spoilers please as I’m currently watching Season 3 - I’ve just discovered that in addition to the four seasons there is also three anime movies.

where do these three movies take place in the continuity ?

donthe stories take during the time period of the TV series or do I watched the films after I finish seasons 4 ?

The movies are recaps of seasons 1 & 2. There are 8 OAD episodes too that were bundled with various volumes of the manga covering the side stories, these are now available for streaming on CR/Funimation

All seasons are available on Crunchyroll. The second half of final season is still streaming atm with the English dub lagging about 6 episodes behind the Japanese.

Thanks! I think seasons 1 and 2 were on Netflix and I really liked them.

    Okay thanks.

I’m a bit disappointed but at least I found out quick.

Are the OAD short episodes about various characters to give backstory that can be watched anytime (not important to the ongoing story)?

Are all the OADs on both CrunchyRoll and Funimation? Are they available in Japanese?

Netflix is how I got hooked. Very annoyed that they didn’t get the whole series.

The OADs are full length episodes that cover events away from the main story.

AoT returning for 1 more cour next year to cover the final 9 chapters. It was expected to be a movie to finish it.

Ive been reading the manga because I couldnt wait to find out what happens... Wow is all I can say! Some crazy stuff coming up in the series.

That being said it is very crudely drawn at times and in black and white, kind of wish a few decent artists had been let at it.

I hope it's better than the first cour. I enjoyed it all the way up, but now it's focusing too much on feelings and not enough action. But I'm like that with most stuff, I hate when they focus on feelings, stupid woe is me stories. Everyone is so depressed (understandbly) that it made that cour a slog to watch.

Episode 80 was such a climax. I really enjoyed it. Pt. 1 of Final Chapters is good but leaves you wanting. Read the ending and am eager to see how they handle the grand finale in the anime, I don't think it will be much of a deviation, hopefully just more fleshed out. I think it was a quite good finish, though I hear this has divided the fanbase.

I.... suspected this, based on the Epilogue, and the powers of the Attack Titan, you have unlimited opportunity (technically) to add on to the story.

We're getting a final final finale epilogue epilogue?

    Drops April 30, 2024.
