Seems like worst dgw players to attempt to own,

On a WC had planned on getting some in, but don't think I want either, time attack last few weeks hard,

Ramsdale Trent James were all show ins for Wc but need re exam now, prob leave last two

TAA to Robbo seems the obvious FT to me atm

Just wait for the stories about him coming back as the international break goes deeper

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,708 ✭✭✭✭Green&Red

Ya TAA's injury has a very international break feel to it. The fact that Southgate doesn't fancy him makes it more likely that Liverpool would like him to have a nice rest up coming into a busy period

James was my planned transfer, Chalobah could do the job too. I wonder will Rudiger keep his place? Hard to justify playing him over a lad thats staying at the club

Happy with my squad at the minute, after this im looking to bring in Madisson (DGW) most likely for Bowen (but he has great fixtures)

Any opinion on transfers/ line up for this GW

    Schmeicel - Ramsdale

    Coady - Rudiger - Tierney - Cancelo - James

Coutinho - Luis Diaz - Salah - Saka - Bowen

    Dennis - Weghorst - Broja

I think if you plan on free hitting in 33 an Everton player this week could be a good investment for the rest of the season despite how terrible they've been. Because they don't double in 33 but they will have 3 other weeks when they do. So surely worth a punt, could just play them on their doubles and bench the rest of the time.

Wolves look a beaten flush. What do you have left in the bank? Coady -> Matip or Stones. Matip would probably be my choice

    I brought in 2 on WC29.

Pickford & Richarlison. They had a double gameweek

Combined total of 5 points. Stay f**king away

I like the look of Chalobah myself. Seems to be playing regular.

Will Tuchel take precedent over FA Cup & CL in a few weeks & rest the likes of Silva etc for PL games?

At 4.7m he might not be a bad shout, but thing Is I’ll be playing my Liverpool defenders & a city defender in the same weeks.

Im really tempted to go 4-5-1 for rest of season.

I'm kinda coming around to that way of thinking myself, Chelsea could be too risky a punt even with the extra games, nothing to play for.

Stones is giving me the eyes, or an arsenal defender to go along with Ramsdale. Spurs have great fxtures but you just can't trust them to keep a CS.

In fairness that was extremely unlucky. Richarlison was brilliant in the first game that week and was very unlucky not to get a couple of returns and Pickford missed the easy clean sheet against Newcastle because of illness or something didn't he? Could very easily have been 20 combined.

I think those two will pay off over the run in yet for you.

Yeah I think 451 is the way to go with so many forwards underperforming

Think so. I’m gonna transfer out a FWD this week to a bench fodder just to increase the funds for the week after. Will then get an extra defender for Thomas. I’d be happy with the rest of my team.

I actually have Pickford & Schmeichel who over the next 8 GW’s will occupy 5 of the DGW’s

ill play Trent, Robbo, Cancelo or James & then rotate Tierney/Doherty where applicable.

    Kane is set as FWD

Then midfield of Salah, Havertz, Saka, Kulu & Martinelli (the last 2 might change with the extra funds post FH GW33

Not able to wait to use my free transfer and just rage transferred out Jimmi for Pukki. Season has gone to s***e for my team so tempted to take a -8 to go Alexander-Arnold and Saint Maximin to Kane and cheaper defender like White but will probably wait until next week and make the move for a -4.

Sounds like TAA won't be ready for 31 but might be ready for 32 but that's City away and then no DGW. Might be time to cash in, even if he did drop in price last night.

There's no real route to Salah instead, unless I sell Son. And I wanted to use my 31 transfers to offload Wolves, Villa & Leeds players as is.

Think it’ll be a very vanilla move of Sissoko out for Gordon. Can use Gordon the weeks Everton double and for my bench boost in 36. Will be 3rd on my bench otherwise

Currently looking at TAA & Ramsdale out, Pope and Cancelo in.

TAA for the reasons Fitz has outlined above. Cancelo in cause it's Cancelo and double for GW33.

Ramsdale - will he be fit for this week? Pope a nice swap and although he has City, he has a good chance for a CSv Everton and the double in GW33. Would like to stock up on DGWers for 33 though and already brought in Ramsdale for that. Foster my first sub though and it's Liverpool next 😬

Whilst I don't necessarily disagree with bringing in Cancelo, City don't double in GW33.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,708 ✭✭✭✭Green&Red

    Any word on Ramsdale?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,404 ✭✭✭✭Father Hernandez

Right you are. Not sure how I messed that up, cheers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Edited: as see someone pointed out that City don’t double.

I think I’ll go either Cancelo or Chalobah in.

Hold off on those TAA transfers yet. This could save a headache for me too.

Listened to the green arrow pod this morning, has me thinking Salah -> KDB this GW, C on KDB; KDB -> Bruno in 32, C on Bruno 32 & 33. Then back to Salah for 34 onwards. Will probably cost me a -8 over the four weeks but also might mean I save my FH for 36. That TAA news is good news for this plan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,662 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Done conflicting news here, but I still won't be selling TAA if there is a chance of a start v Watford (h)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

After GW31 Newcastle play at home in 32 & twice at home in 33.

Bruno Guimares scored & assisted last night for Brazil.

At 4.9m he could be serious value & a differential.

Saying that Richarlison scored twice & he has a double coming up.!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,404 ✭✭✭✭Father Hernandez

His goal was pretty special tbf and Newcastle fans are raving about him.

My only thinking is if this is a one off or could he be consistent?

Looking at his stats here for Lyon - 3 goals in 71 appearances. Not sure on assists. Is he in an advanced role and guaranteed to start? Admittedly haven't seen any of him for Newcastle this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,779 ✭✭✭macraignil

He has been more a central midfielder rather than playing in attack so I think he will have a lot of games with just 2 or 3 points. His goal for Newcastle was from a corner situation with a well taken backwards flick into the goal so as a Newcastle supporter I'm hoping he will be a regular goal scorer but it's not something I'm expecting. He has not played as much as he could have with Howe seeming happy to ease him in but now that he has started a few times I'd think he should hold his place and he seems to have the ability to hold possession better than some of the other options Newcastle could use. Fraser has been a more attacking midfielder who seems to have found better form since Howe has come in and is just .4mill more expensive.

Anyone hear recent injury news on Dubravka? Stuck with him and Ramsdale so will likely have to buy a goalkeeper to get one playing this GW

I think I saw Angina mentioned, but that there was hope for him being back this weekend.
