Cluxton, , Diarmuid Connolly and Bernard Brogan. I'm leaving out those that are still playing or that could be playing like McCaffrey and Mannion!

I believe James McCarthy is to be appointed captain for the footballers. Could do with his leadership Sunday. He played for Ballymun last Sunday, Costello played for Whitehall so hopefully both start for Dublin this Sunday. Con had to get minor op on ankle so more than likely not likely to feature in league

fairly low key buid up for the match i suppose a lot of other things happening will stay at home and watch not that hopeful but we really need to show something at least .

I am not looking forward this match at all. If Dublin lose by less than 8 and not make a show of themselves I would take that. I fear it could be 10-15 point hiding for Dublin.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

I would have Connolly, Cluxton as nailed on anyway. Third one I am torn on. But it would not be a forward if I was forced to pick.

It would be Cian O’Sullivan. That calmness he had, positional sense, picking the right pass. The complete back IMO. If Dessie had a back like that now could cover over a lot of failings of the current Dublin team!

expect to lose but hopefully not a hiding we have to show something if not think the year will end badly .

Yeah. If there is a hiding. Confidence could hit rock bottom. Championship around the corner. It could get very ugly.

Kildare losing keeps us interested too. Monaghan started well v Donegal, hopefully they don’t keep it up.

Any word on subs? Jamesie and CC could be the difference for us.

Found these breakdown of stats and ‘records’ under Dessie Farrell.

It’s worse I feel now after reading that.

looking at our subs list makes grim enough reading and with monaghan winning div 2 looks very likely .

Just laughing because I read this as ‘winning div 2 looks very likely’. I thought Jayus I wouldn’t be so confident! 🤔

That is what happens when posting in a hurry and not paying attention to punctuation .

First shock it’s not lashing in Omagh. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing from a Dublin perspective.

Looking better with the dry ball.

Early yet, but a glimmer of hope

Hopefully there will be no massive dip second half. Keep the intensity going. All the auld lads doing well so far! Lovely Fenton point. Costello very busy.

I know it's early but this is the first game this season that everything seems to be dropping in our favour!

Taking nothing away from this cause it's our best performance so far but Tyrone have been awful ha.

This is far more like it. Hard, quick, direct play with a purpose. Tyrone can't live with us playing like this.

They've cut out the slow down play around the half backs and were just getting after Tyrone. The shape in defence looks a lot more solid as we aren't getting caught by slow ball and too many forward.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

    This is more like it

1 point two chances for Tyrone. 10 from 13 for Dublin. Mad stuff.

If all it took for Dublin to start playing again was me getting Covid I should of got it sooner! Ha.

Have to agree, Tyrone look awful.

stayed at home this week, so it might be watching on tv, but we do look to be playing quicker.

Be thankful where not playing in Kerry otherwise ref would of gave that goal!

Good stuff here with the caveat Tyrone have been awful. I’ve criticised him enough for not kicking on but the difference in our attack with Costello there is huge. Gives us pace.

Nice bit of bite from the likes of Scully and JC today. McDaid back an upgrade too. You’d think that’s near enough our championship team with James in for Lahiff. Which isn’t bad but our bench will be non existent.

good half for us hopefully keep them at bay especially early second half so we can bag what i thought would be an unlikely win .

Good first half here by Dublin, yes Tyrone are awful but you can only play what's in front of you. Dublin obviously need the win and the way results are going they probably have to beat Donegal and Monaghan to stay in Div 1.
