If Cesaro does sign, I'd love to see him be TNT champion (I was thinking the same for Danielson) and they just have open challenges every week. The roster is so big, it'll be fresh matches for a long time.

What happened to Mike Chioda? I was delighted to see him show up last year (thought he could teach the AEW refs how not to be noticed during a match) but I think he only did 1 or 2 shows.

I reckon Tony has purchased ROH, he will then have access to their full tape library for streaming service and possible docs on Danielson, Punk etc and this would allow him to have some super cards.

ROH's tape library is niche if we're totally honest. Only so many people are going to watch old wrestling. Streaming wise, where could it go? It going to a wrestling streamer is hardly worth announcing. If it went to HBO Max surely the bigger get would be that AEW is going there.

Documentaries on Danielson and Punk would be good but you can't exactly ignore their WWE tenures and probably won't get footage for it. Also where do you put them? AEW don't have a dedicated streaming service (afaik) it's Fite here, think it's B/R Live in the US.

The Supercard thing doesn't work either cause all the ROH talent has been let go so anyone they wanted would just be a free agent.

Unless TK has bought Ring of Honor to restart it and use it as some sort of development programme or another show (not sure we need one) I don't see how the ROH talk or rumours help. Maybe I'm missing something, I just don't get it.

Buying the ROH brand and tape library wouldn't cost a fortune and if Tony gets a platform on HBO Max or another streaming service it would be a good addition to the last two years of AEW to bulk up content.

ROH also own the rights to the PPV that started it all All In so in some way buying ROH would bring everything full circle for AEW.

Good point about All In though, hadn't thought of that. Could definitely be a reason to go after the tape library.

Its not really a huge announcement though tbf, buying a tape library. It going on HBO Max would be, but outside that it's left with a NJPW show.

Exactly my point. As much as buying the tape library would be cool, unless there's something else attached to it like AEW going to HBO Max or ROH being relaunched for some reason, there's no major value in it, despite what some fans think. Certainly if that alone is the announcement it would be a major misplay IMO.

A UK/European tour with a 3Arena date (it would attract a few 1000 tbh) would be great
