Any1 else's cows drinking urine?

    Hello lads,


    Just wondering is there any1 else's cows drinking urine from the ground and what do ye do for it? Is it a lack of sodium or phosphorus I wonder?

    I have 2 of the hoors that are licking the slats all day. They get mineral with silage.

    Probably a Phosphorus deficiency alright. Easily solved with Phos licks, flakes in the water or Hi Phos feed. Have you any extra cases of milk fever or retained placenta more than usual?

    I found this worked for me too, cows already getting minerals but the salt sorted it, not himalayan salt, came down from the North, far cheaper, just as effective
