Said I wasn’t sure if it was true as it was so deplorable.

    Should have known better.

Remember when he said he trusted Putin over American intelligence agencies?

Ah Putins little fluffer ...... Wonder if the trumpists still insist he's not a traitor .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,798 ✭✭✭✭DrumSteve

Im both surprised and not surprised he said that.

Won't make a blind bit of difference to those who worship though. The only time they have been mad at him in recent times has been when he told them to get vaxxed.

They’re all going to side with putin, aren’t they?

They already are. Again, I viewed to keep your browser history clear. Amongst the gems of wisdom:

If you've being watching the news you know that Putin is having a border dispute with a nation called Ukraine. Now the main thing to know about Ukraine, for our purposes is that its leaders once sent millions of dollars to Joe Biden's family. Not surprising, Ukraine is now one of Biden's favourite countries. Biden has pledged to defend Ukraine's borders even as he opens our borders to the world. That's how it works: Invading America is called "Equity", invading Ukraine is a war crime

So with every day, we move closer to some kind of conflict with Russia, a conflict that could easily spin out of control given that the people running us have no fine motor skills, the administration assures us this has nothing at all to do with ripping Joe Biden's personal debts to Ukrainian oligarchs. Not at all. It's completely and totally unrelated.

    Fox "news" folks.

Come on authur da brute matchbox now is your time to shine. Your Leader needs you (And not your money this time). The entire world sees this as an aggressive act apart from Russia, China, fox and trump (And assuming GOP). What stellar company they are in. They will side with thugs and hostile nations over their own country. Traitors.

Traitorous commie symp Trump. His scummy mentor Roy Cohn's turning over in his grave or perhaps roasting even hotter in Hell.

An ex-President praising a Russian leader. How is this even slightly o.k.?

Well...you've got this group of people wanting to prop up a system of a single-party state designed to serve the personal whims of their leader at the expense of the human rights of anyone they don't approve of...

...and then you have the Russians....

Can't help but wonder if this is Putin cashing in some of his favors with Trump while his opinion is still worth something to the MAGA base. Nothing quite like getting to start a war *and* managing to get a loud & obnoxious chunk of the US population to actively support it.

it is the cognitive dissonance that blows my f**king mind.

Democrats are commies, socialists, anti-america, but at the same time when Trump or Fox tells them that America's biggest enemy is okay, then it's almost like they are rebooted, they shake their collective heads and say "well yeah, of course Russia is fine".

    Absolutely incredible.

I think at the most base level, Trump could just watch a tank run over an innocent civilian and go "Ooh! Tank!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 6,715 ✭✭✭TheIrishGrover

Basically they honestly and truly HATE the democrats (And thus more than half their country) so much that they will side with Russia and China on invading another nation.

To avoid any ambiguity: That is 100% the single, sole and ONLY reason they (fox/GOP/trump klan) are doing so. If trump was in power they would NEVER make such statements (And now they will join in in a futile attempt to convince that Putin didn't totally dominate trump).

I say again in small words: GOP/trump HATE "The dems" so much that they betray their country.

I think the lack of a response from the Trumpists' is that they are still trying to spell CRT.

And they will try to deflect HARD.

"But what about CRT? What about Hilary? What about what about what about........" Their traitor in chief (And thus the GOP) has sided with Russia and China on invading a sovereign nation.

    Genuine lol from that.

I have yet to see one of them actually explain it.

Think there are bigger issues at the moment though.

Though I'm not sure Trump could pull it off, I imagine the whole Ukraine story was part of a Russian long con and was planting the seeds of distrust in Ukraine. These are now pushing through the soil as Russia makes its move.

All those who parroted the Ukraine links and Trump's attempts to expose them won't be too bothered that Ukraine is getting invaded. I can see the invasion being repackaged and justified as Putin, having been enlightened by Trump, joining the Qanon crusade as clearly the Bidens and the Ukrainian president are others involved in the conspiracy. Or somethkng equally ridiculous so the Trump supporters don't have to think too much about what's going on.

Well kermit is stating that Ukrainians should fight back the invaders. Guess they are stretching/oiling up in preparation for some conflicting-opinion-gymnastics

Trump 4 points clear of Biden in a hypothetical 2024 poll by Emerson. Some serious buyers remorse by the American electorate.

Do not make eye contact. This is part of the BAU trump deflection process. It's as predictable as it is sad. ('Cos we know they love that word)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 6,715 ✭✭✭TheIrishGrover

So yeah, we are going to get no posts defending the Traitor In Chief and his cronies. Because there is no defense. As predicted, a sad attempt at deflection.

Trump (And, by assocciation, the GOP) now think that invading a foreign country is a peace-keeping force that America should use on Mexico. To quote Trump:

So, Putin is now saying, “It’s independent,” a large section of Ukraine. I said, “How smart is that?” And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re gonna keep peace all right. No, but think of it. Here’s a guy who’s very savvy… I know him very well. Very, very well.

    Nice👍

Emerson are rated an A- regarding their polling so results are reasonably accurate.

Trump backs Russia not a Dickie bird, a poll comes out showing him favourably suddenly I can post again.
