I bent two prongs on my new Darby 4 prong pike while piking silage. Surly that's not right?

Bin it or bring it back?

Oh god here we go again. That's a 4 prong silage fork.

A bit of heat a few bangs of a hammer will straighten that.

I bought one recently and exactly the same. Very little work and no wrecking done with it either. I straightened it with a vice grips.

Get a 3 prong one. Will never get a 4 prong one again

It should be tempered steel. No way it should bend that easy.

Happened to mine too few months old and no hardship. All hand tools past 5 years are rubbish and expensive. Modern spades are dogs of things

You'd be better off finding your old one and putting a new handle in it. Take that back to where you bought it and tell them it's not fit for purpose and ask for your money back. In the race to the bottom the quality simply isn't there anymore.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
