Any recommendations for property surveyor/engineer?

Hey all. First time buyer here, so don't have much experience in dealing with them. We're looking at a fairly remote little house outside Castlebaldwin.

Are there any surveyors/engineers that anyone could recommended (or that should be avoided)? Do any of them also check on wells or would we need someone dedicated to that task?

    Thanks in advance.

We recently went to Patrick Barrett, he was recommended to us. €500 plus VAT. You'd have to ask him about covering wells etc. yourself, our property didn't need anything like that. Ours was a fairly straight forward semi-d, contacted him the wek before Christmas and he was able to do it second week of January.

    Hi,

In a similar situation as you we used a company call CHH (Concannon Healy Heffernan) they are Sligo based and we found them to be excellent
