Bike maintenance course

Does anyone know or have done a bike maintenance course for beginners, my local bike man is retiring so I wanted to have a go at doing it myself in semi retirement

Pretty sure Wheelworx used to run free ones, cause I went to one but possibly got an invite for buying something there

not sure if they still do them, especially as covid would have killed this kind of thing

Free if it's a fetch course I think, well it was in my case even though I'm working full time. Kept getting emails from recruiters advertising them and decided why not last year to add to my "palmarés" as it would be useful for my work. I was in for a shock though as the course I did was pretty intensive and had a lot of work required offline for assessment as well as the lectures 3 nights a week. I'll have that in hand next month when talk of pay and terms come up at work for me.

Yep it's free.

Current part of it is online tutorials with a small pop quiz at the end of each video. The advert for the course popped up on my facebook feed so i thought why not. Looking forward to the 5 day practical part in early march. I'm ok with doing a lot of things but there's always something new to learn i guess.
