How do I change code?

Just bought a house with HKC alarm and the previous owner left the manual which shows how to set in with/without timer, unset, partial arm, etc but it doesn't mention how to change the code.

From googling it looks like the model is the HKC SW8/12, does anybody have any idea how I go about changing the code?

This is my first time ever with an alarm, so treat me like an idiot please - we had to call the estate agent to be told to disarm/arm it's literally only a matter of entering the code on the keypad, so that's how think we are around this!!!

When you go to set with code foes arm menu come up? If not you will need the panel defaulted and reprogrammed.

Who installed the alarm system,They most likely have an Engineer code in the System,and to change your code you need this Code

Our HKC installer wouldn't give me the Eng code when I wanted to update with new wifi password. They wanted a call out to do it.

That's the problem, they're no longer around - the previous owner had a note dated a few years on the manual that they were no longer in business other wise they would have been first call.

Going to just get a new system installed at this stage!
