More likely than the Duffster has shares in Eir and this is all a PR stunt to give them free publicity.

Joe: is it A or is it B?

Caller: ah ah ah ah it’s not a winner Joe

FFS. All you had to say was “A” or “B”

They should have "Older People" departments where those answering the phones are not subject to tracking software monitoring how many times their hand scratches their hole a day.

“5:1 against eir” he says, again. This despite the fact he’s had at least 15 callers now, all of whom have “voted”. So 15 votes gives a 5:1 tally.

Incredible maths from the Trinity Graduate.

I would wager this “amusing anecdote” will neither be “amusing” nor an “anecdote”.

I doubt anyone under 60 would chose Eir if given a choice of provider.

Will Joe do a similar show on getting meaningful responses from RTE - individual programmes or at corporate level- or their company which looks after transmission, 2RN?

Probably a no to that I suppose.

    I’m out.

I’m also amazed (and disgusted with myself) that I lasted this long.

Don't mention the copper in the phone lines, caller

I remember them cancelling my number... I had a work phone, so never used my personal one, but I'd had the number since I was a teenager, when I was with 02..... I went absolutely mental down the phone for a week solid, but eventually got it back. After being told from the get go, it wasn't possible to get back.

Told them it wasn't their number to take, as I brought it with me when I transfer accounts.
