Advice needed please on new building development

    Good afternoon,

    I'm looking for some advice or clarity on a new development in Dundalk called Dundoogan, phase 3 has just started and I went to see the show house recently, it's a three bed semi detached property I was told there will be 250 houses in the development, however I was doing some research online and it states the development will comprise of 1100 houses, I am not from the area and I was wondering if anyone here had any advice, would you recommend or avoid? I have paid booking deposit to hold a house but now I'm having my doubts, I'm a first time buyer so its all new to me. Many thanks for reading the post, any advice would be welcome, I just don't want to make the wrong decision.
