UK-only delivery workaround through Northern Ireland?

    I'm looking to buy a piece of furniture from a retailer who only delivers within the UK. Is there any parcel motel-like equivalent I can use to get around their UK-only shipping? And if so, would customs charges be placed on it? The item is around EUR1,100.
