Is there going to be a 'best timeloop game' category, given half the bloody games this year had a time loop theme? And a 'worst timeloop game' for 12 Minutes?

I'll abstain again. Otherwise Metroid Dread will be my vote for everything since think it's the only 2021 game I played, not counting Skyward Sword since it's a remaster.

Thanks Mr. E, as usual, I really appreciate the effort you put into this. The only game awards that matter and none of that exclusive games reveal nonsense :)

I can't remember if there's noms for best dlc? Any awards I've checked the last few months didn't seem to have dlc category and Outer Wilds was criminally quiet because of it. That dlc was goty material.

Other than that, think it's gonna be a good result for indies.

Go ahead and deny yourself one of god's great pleasures.

But if you do go for it I'd recommend buying the deluxe edition. The extra money gets you a HD remake of the fantastic Ace Combat 5 which is exclusive to the PSN deluxe edition.

I think it's needs to be a full game. There is a separate dlc question in the third group.

Like I said, the answer to everything has to be Metroid Dread since I played nothing else from 2021. Unless a best remaster category for Skyward Sword.

Could answer more if it was best game played in 2021.

I put Death's Door in the PS5 Download Only category as it didn't receive a full retail release (just physical copies if bought from the publisher), but if it counts as retail I'd replace Deathloop in my noms with Death's Door.

I voted for Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island DLC a few times (before seeing this post), but happy for it to be struck out if it doesn't count.

I also voted for Hades as best PS5 Retail game as it was only released on PS5 this year, but didn't vote for it in any Fun categories as that would have been covered last year.

I think the DLC is fine. It was released in 2021.

We've been fine before with later releases on other platforms.
